Apex of Grace
The Leopard - Saving Grace
The Apex of Grace
Nature is amazing.
From the flowers and forests to big cats and trees,
the magnificent Earth is filled with great beauty.
The graceful Leopard exemplifies this.
I love to watch Leopards. The way they move through the forest, how they study their environment. To see a Leopard jump through the trees is incredible. Watching them is continually inspiring and to be near one is very humbling.
With power and grace they guard the Earth's forests.
The moment you see one all time seems to stop.
A natural balance governs all life on Earth. From the birds of the sky to the fish in the sea, the behaviours of mankind and the planet are linked. All things on Earth need balance.
When humanity lives in harmony with Earth we are balanced, healthy and naturally prosperous. When we ignore natural laws and think ourselves above nature we upset the balance and
mother nature corrects us.
Each being on Earth brings its own kind of balance. When we are balanced with each other all benefit and become more well. When we are out of balance with each other the planet suffers and we harm ourselves.
Human beings need balance.
We are all a part of the natural world, and the natural world is part of us all. The average human body is made from over 30 Trillion cells - every one
of these cells is a part of nature.
When we separate from nature human beings become sick. For good health
and true peace we should
connect back to nature.
Human Beings need Balance
The Leopard in this photograph is unbelievably powerful. Before taking this photo he jumped more than 30 feet vertically. That really is incredible to see.
I've watched leopards carry whole Zebra through trees. Whole, adult, Zebra...
Adult Zebra weigh up to 5 times adult Leopards, yet somehow they manage to carry them up the trees. This takes unbelievable power.
Mother nature is powerful.
Sometimes mankind forgets that.
With the smallest of things she can stop a whole human world. With the love of a mother she gives us all that we need. When we look after nature we have more than we need.
Why then do we let people hurt her?
"When you see a 50Kg Leopard drag a 60Kg Antelope up a tree in its mouth, you realise how strong that animal is.
A Lion could not do the equivalent".
- Kevin Richardson, The Lion Whisperer
The Natural world is a gift to us all.
No one on Earth can ever own nature - even if they think otherwise.
For most of our history human beings knew this truth. Only relatively recently did man begin "selling" land.
The Earth is a gift that is meant to be shared. It does not belong to people - especially the destructive.
We can revoke unjust business's claims of ownership over land. It just takes lots of people and pressure to get done.
We owe it to children to take care
of mother nature. We all depend upon nature for life. Those guarding nature are saving all life.
The power to change always comes from within.
When in need of food Leopards hunt from the trees. They wait patiently for prey beneath, taking their time and picking their moment carefully.
Leopards do not rush,
they are wise.
Leopards possess great patience.
I have Leopards watching a pride of Lions hunt for hours, patiently waiting for the Lions to scatter a herd.
Knowing when to act requires
both wisdom and patience.
When the Lions have tired and separated the herd the Leopard moves in on a much easier meal.
There is great power in wisdom and patience. The Leopard shows this.
Leopard's embody the spirit of courage.
Sometimes a Leopard must fight much bigger predators. In one incident I saw a Leopard fighting four female Lions in Africa. With such a large size difference and being heavily outnumbered you would not expect that the Leopard survived, but it injured the Lions and left
There is another documented case where a single Leopard defended itself against a whole pride of Lions, including two males.
That is amazing.
Very few animals have the courage, power and skill to successfully fend off much larger animals - especially a whole
pride of Lions.
Defending the Planet
Greed and blindness are what cause ecological destruction;
but indifference to injustice is what allows it.
Corporate greed is destroying the natural ecosystems upon which all life on Earth depends.
Because of this, the majority of species are now in decline.
How can people not know about this?
The media continually distracts the public from such issues.
They facilitate corporate greed through distraction and fear.

There's no Planet B.
There's No Planet B
Leopards are dangerously close to extinction. There are now less than 100 Amur Leopards living out in the wild. In the past few decades, all leopard species have suffered massive decline. Why?
Because we allow it.
Unless we act soon, the children of tomorrow will never be able to see Leopard's alive. We, and all on the Earth,
will have lost the chance to meet
these beings forever.
Leopards are dangerously close to extinction.
Ignorance and indifference are major hurdles to protecting planet Earth.
How will people care for issues they simply aren't aware of?
Through artwork and writing we can raise more awareness,
but the message only travels as far as it's shared.
I do what I can with the resources I have,
but this needs everybody.
It can be hard to see why such fierce beings need our help,
but to protect them from humans we simply must act.
Human industry is destroying natural habitat.
We are losing these species because they're losing their home.
We are losing animal species, clean water and food because selfish human beings keep destroying the natural world.
Continued chemical use in agriculture and industry is poisoning the water, soil, rivers and streams. This is killing the plants and pollinators - both things upon which
all of humanity depends.
It is time for us to act for Earth.
A Great Awakening
The images you will see in this article are from the most significant
public uprising in recent British history, yet nothing like this was
shown in mass media.
Ask yourself why.
Connect here with those who are fighting for change.
The majority of animal species are now in decline. This is a shocking consequence of industrial negligence and negative human behaviours. We all have a responsibility to look after this planet, but big industry and corporates are destroying natural ecosystems at an unprecedented scale.
Public indifference to industrial negligence has allowed continual ecological destruction to reach planetary scale - the very foundations of all life on Earth are now under threat. Why do we allow this to happen?
There are a lot of people on Earth who care deeply for nature,
but so few are aware of our urgent need to protect it.
This suits corporates, government and industry just fine, because many of those entities destroy the planet for financial gain.
Corporations are just legal constructs of the human imagination, yet they are given the rights of real people and allowed to own land - even though none is accountable in the way a human being is. corporations now own more resources and property than most nations, Despite being entirely imaginary constructs,
and operate so irresponsibly and at such scale
that they threaten an entire planet's ecosystem.
We need a free place
Since corporations, governments and big businesses are just constructs of the human imagination, why do we let them control this world? Why are the world's resources being used to destroy natural habitat for profit?
These imaginary structures allow immoral people to destroy a whole planet and make financial gain. This is totally wrong.
They are doing this because they control the system.
We should change that.
Centralisation of resources through broken and redundant systems has allowed corporate greed to threaten the whole natural world.
Corporate structures control mass media and heavily dictate the information most now receive. These same structures derive power from unsustainable practices by creating demand and promoting consumerist behaviour through the media they own and influence.
This system depends upon public ignorance and person dissatisfaction.
A handful of companies control most used technology and social media so that we are approaching the day a virtual technocracy becomes reality.
(These platforms are now massively censoring information).
Though many are aware of the issue and work hard to reach others, we are now losing the ability to reach public consciousness.
In the modern world those who control media control consciousness.
Mass control of media is now the greatest threat to human freedom.
The beast that is the unsustainable economy is so destructive now that it is threatening all life on Earth. If we continue propagating this system much longer it will cause a planet wide ecological collapse. We are already seeing a collapse of many ecosystems, but mass media does not reveal it. It is our responsibility as human beings to make others aware of the situation and then work together to change our course.
We need to change this world.
This is our duty to each other, ourselves, the children and nature.
You will often see Leopards near to Lions in the wild, watching them hunt and even joining in. Lions seem to respect the Leopard were they would not tolerate other competitive predators (like wild dogs or Hyena's).
It is beautiful when I see this respect between them.
If we combined resources we could easily change this.
Before that can happen we need to help others wake up.
To awaken and inspire humanity is the main reason I create art.
Those who care can change the world.
If we work together,
We can change.
